Let's imagine for a moment that music is like an ocean.
No matter how many times you navigate from one end to the other, you still won't know everything about it, or even get a sense of its depths.
However, I think everyone gets a bit of this ocean, at least as much as they can hold in the cup of their palms. We can't compare ourselves with Brahms or Bach, who managed to part the waters!
If you have enough patience and willingness to listen and go deeper, you will surely discover more than you would have imagined about what could be expressed through this art.
Let me be one of your captains on this journey for a while.
Alex Negriuc,
concert pianist
Born in 1988 in Suceava, Romania, I began my piano studies at the age of seven at the "Ciprian Porumbescu" College with professors Valan Petru and Gagiu Richard. My first solo appearance took place a year later when I made my debut with an orchestra at the age of fourteen.
I continued my studies until the age of twenty-five, taking part in master classes with Georg Sava, Angela Brownridge, and Walter Kraft.
I have given recitals in United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Australia, USA, China, and throughout Romania. I also performed at the Bibbiena Theatre in Mantova (the theater that inaugurated Mozart) and the spectacular Botanical Garden and Villa Carlotta Museum on Lake Como, Italy.
I am also the co-founder of the International Pianistic Forum of Dinu Lipatti Walter Kraft.
I am now based in London, furthering my solo career.

‘From the first moment of hearing Alex Negriuc's original way of playing, the public is profoundly impressed by the direct path of communication that he creates through sounds and music. His remarkable piano technique serves exclusively for recreating the poetry, dramatism and the tragism that are hidden into the musical symbols. His way of playing is so intense that he becomes one with the instrument.’ Murnau Musical Newspaper
